Tuesday afternoon, I got back from Australia after a whirlwind trip. I was doing just fine. Then you pack 200 people on a plane where there was plenty of sneezing, coughing, and other ailments. If you believe in the law of averages, sooner or later, you’ll get infected with something.
Wednesday morning, I woke with up a congested nose, some coughing, and general muscle fatigue. Sounds innocuous enough. Maybe some sunshine and going out (with a mask) would help. Nope. Just to be safe, I took 2 tests Wednesday night.
Yes, the dreaded C & T.
So far, the symptoms have been very mild; feels like a cold. Nevertheless, I am still going to see a doctor and get a prescription for Paxlovid. Hopefully, it won’t get worse. Until then, I have to take OTC meds to alleviate the symptoms.
As for the trip to Australia, it was a blast. I’ll post later.
