To the Mountains

Last year, I was driving up to Big Bear – to the Salvation Army’s Pine Summit camp for our church’s fourth annual men’s retreat.

The camp is about 7000 feet above sea level. It was a nice scenic drive that I decided to stop at one overlook and take some pictures.

Here is another picture.

Either random chance made all this, or a benevolent, artistic God made all this. Is beauty only in the eye of the beholder, or is there a reason why thousands of people choose to live there and just as many go there for retreats?

Looking at very old wooden structures and wagons is pretty cool too. The camp is beautiful and is a great place to relax.
