As I posted earlier, I am participating in the National Novel Writing Month that happens each year in November. Participants are supposed to write 50,000 words as a first draft of an original work by Nov 30, 2018. Some people in this support group reached 130,000 words by November 15. I have one word for that: respect.
Me? I just finished the draft at 53,850 words… but the plot is not over yet. No way. But finishing the plot is not a criterion for completion or “winning”. In the meantime, I’m eligible to collect my winner’s certificate, proudly posted below:
I’ll still try to advance the plot for the next 7 days. See where it goes.
Until next year!
