Our team will fly into Hyderabad and then take a bus down to Tenali in the southeast by the coast. The bus ride is approximately 10 hours, give or take. Why no set time? Because we’re going to be in India where concepts of time, punctuality and exactness are foreign to Westerners. Where is Tenali and Hyderabad? Well, I’ve attached a map.
The state is called Andra Pradesh and is possibly the poorest of them all. Into this place of hurt and suffering, a group of Americans are going in to make a difference. It sounds like something that the US Army Special Forces would do, except this is a civilian team with no political and military goals. Because in the end, it’s the people who matter.
